Ronald R. Gold was born in Detroit and graduated from Cass Technical High School. He entered Lawrence Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture and Engineering. While working as an engineer, Ronald R. Gold attended Detroit College of Law where he received his law degree and immediately thereafter established his law firm. Mr. Gold has handled well over 300 jury trials, making him one of the most experienced criminal trial attorneys in the country! Over the years, he has conducted jury trials in cases ranging from homicide to drunk driving. Several of his cases, both criminal and injury, have been high-profile cases that were reported in the national news as well as local newspapers and television. As a result of his expertise, he was asked to comment on the O.J. Simpson case where his comments were published in local newspapers. Mr. Gold has also had cases published in the Michigan Appellate Reports, which served to clarify the law in Michigan.
Ronald R. Gold has been admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Cincinnati and the U.S. District Court in Michigan. He has conducted jury trials in both State and Federal Courts and has also handled appeals to The United States Court of Appeals in Cincinnati and the Supreme Court. He has been a long time member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a member of the Criminal and Negligent Sections of the Michigan State Bar, a former member of the American Arbitration Association and a mediator in Wayne County Circuit Court where he served to evaluate injury cases.
